Celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week with the Pope County Library! All week long, PCLS will be providing supplies for patrons to show their appreciation to our nation's heroes. Create potentially life-saving paracord bracelets for our troops, or write a thank you letter to a veteran, new recruit, or a first responder like a fire fighter, paramedic, or member of law enforcement! Letters should start with a generic salutation, such as “Dear Hero” or “Dear Brave One.” We will also be collecting small stuffed animals and beanie babies for care packages. For more information about Operation Gratitude visit www.operationgratitude.com, for more info on Random Acts of Kindness Week go to www.randomactsofkindness.org. For more information about this event, contact Kristin Pearson at 479-968-4368 or email teens@popelibrary.org.
