Are you looking to improve your computer skills? The Pope County Library System is now offering a FREE computer class on the first Thursday morning of each month from 10:00 AM-12:00 AM. We will be covering the basics of computers and learning to use common computer programs, safely search the web, and utilize online job search resources. Seating is limited, so please register for this event by calling the Russellville Library at 479-968-4368 or email elilley@popelibrary.org with your name, phone number, and approximate computer skill level to reserve your seat.

This week we will have a special guest instructor Paola Gemme will be teaching a Tabata Class, Please bring a yoga mat, light weights (2-3 lbs) and heavy weights (5-8lbs.). A workshop presented by the Alzheimer’s Association will be held on. Know the 10 signs is an interactive workshop that will discuss early detection and how to understand the differences between typical aging and dementia. A light lunch will be provided.  For more information on this workshop contact Tammy Montjoy at 968-4368 or email outreach@popelibrary.org.

Students in middle through high school are invited to participate in our Homework Help program. Assistance will be provided for students needing help with math, English, social studies, and science topics. Volunteer opportunities are also available for tutors. We plan to offer these sessions at least twice a month. This is a FREE program.

FAMILY GAME NIGHT – Join us on Friday, September 15th  from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.for classic board games, exciting strategy games, video games, and everything in between. "Bingo for Bad Prizes" will start at 8:30 PM. While the Pope County Library does have a rather extensive collection of games, feel free to bring a favorite board game from home if you like!
