*Note: Entire process to get a library card will include visiting the library to show proof of eligibility. Cards acquired online are for the checkout of digital materials ONLY. You must come into the library and get a physical card to check out physical items.

Eligibility

• Live in Pope County

• Own real property in Pope County
  

• Employed in Pope County
  

• Full-time student in Pope County
  

• Photo ID showing current address, such as a driver’s license
• A recent (within the past month) utility or other bill with current mailing address
• Current bank statement
  

Out of County Card

Own real property in Pope County? Show most recent paid property tax receipt along with proof of your current mailing address.  The $15 out-of-county fee will be waived.
