"Saw Salisbury, Winchester, Ramsey Abbey. Crossed from Southampton. Ride through Itarfleur, Tanearville, Lillehonare, Caudebec, to Rouen is far & away the finest I have ever taken. Towns quaint but "smelly" Caudebec is one of the most antique towns in France. Rouen is very old world. Getting on Al. Kind regards, A.G.C."
