"Winona Lake, Ind. Aug. 30' 09. Dear May: Wouldn't you like to be here too? It is simply fine, lakes, groves, springs, Gunsaulus(?), Edward Hale, Dr. Lloyd of London, Dr. Thomas Riverpool, Dr. Jowett, Birmingham, Marion Lawrence, Billy Sunday, E. O. Excell, Dr. Miligan & young lady soloist Scotland. Roy R. Teeter, Falls City, Neb., etc. (Roy ran for Gov on Prohibition ticket last year but like Bryan is too far ahead of his time.) 4,500 audiences in auditorium, & speaking at two or three smaller buildings at same time. Have a notion to live here, but will leave Sept. 1st. Much love, your Auntie Estelle."
