Transcription:
"Many thanks for card. I am still jogging on in the same old way. I have been busy with a newspaper controversy & with a paper upon Ecclesiastical Architecture which I read to our branch of the Church of England Men's Society. Besides these I have more pupils than I have ever had. No tidings of Mr. Carmody. This shows our church and the school where he used to teach the violin and where I teach piano. The distant hill peeping over the ridge at the top of the picture immediately above the word "Stapleton" is Lansdow's where a battle was fought in our Civil War in the time of Charles I. I expect to go for my next Continental tour in September. I trust you will have a good time at the Great Lakes. With kind regards A.G.C."
