"Dear M. Didn't I answer your letter? I have only a very poor memory to prove it by — but I think I did. Am sending Geo. a card in your card because her address is locked up and sent to the station and I don't expect to see my trunk for 2 weeks or more. Will not take it all the way to ranch. Leave tomorrow morning for ranch. See Lucile on way back. Had nice time in Artesia. Will write you about it later. ? P."
