"Many thanks indeed for interesting batch of cards is? hand?. How like you this of Stonehenge? 'Twas taken at Whitsun tide. Though little more than 40 miles distant I have not visited it. My bike must carry me there. I have not heard from the wanderer for several months. Article in Sat. Ev. Post is misleading, to say the least. Will write re this. Kind regards. A. G. C."
"A Bristol firm has an order for 10,000 pairs of boots from U.S.A. Why? That article say 21/— is the price for a pair of boots. I looked in several shops that I passed a few days ago. They had nothing marked higher than 16/9."
