"Jan 12—1911. Dear Girlie, We all enjoyed your letter. Lucy will write you soon. We are having fine weather, go driving most every day. Lucy had some pretty roses when I came, but the cold weather hit them down. We have no fire and have windows open. All join me in much love. Yours, Mary Gates."
