"Dear M. The "dam" card arrived and it's a beauty. Almost it reconciles me to having water works and lights and care. Surely you have that enormous letter Dad and I sent you by this time. You and Miss U. the children, But Warren (the engineer) and Sarah Neal remembered my address on Valentine day. Thus I know whose hearts are in the right place. Love to all. R."
