"Dear friends. I am rejoicing with those who rejoice and hope you are all well as we are. 'Tis fine out here. I am much stronger that in Mo. Have more snow and cold than last winter here. Home folks are well. Little girls getting along fine, spent Christmas in Berier. When I hear from you my first thought is to tell Mark. I think he knows don't you? Have been planning to write to Miss May. I do enjoy the photo so much. Suppose you will build somewhere now. Would be pleased with a boy letter in you can spare the time. Love to all, F. H."
