"A Primitive Hawaiian Home. Very few of the primitive Hawaiian homes are still extant. They were but grass huts, situated on the mountain side, amid picturesque, tropical surroundings, and are now replaced by frame cottages. The native has few wants beyond his simple food and clothing."
