"15th July, 1913 "Bears Lejour" Zurich Switzerland. Going to Lucerne Wed. Went for a delightful walk up the mountains yesterday. In the afternoon up one where we got a grand view of the snow covered Alps. After 7:30 p.m. went up another and saw the city illuminations and the lightning over the hills, which was a grand & glorious sight. I expect to go to the Museum this afternoon. It is cloudy this a.m. We had quite a thunderstorm last night. Remember me to all." (not signed)
