Typed description:
"The magnificent White Stone Temple of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry at Sixteenth and S Streets N.W., Washington, D.C., was built at a cost of $1,250,000.00 and is the most beautiful Masonic Temple in the World. The main floor contains thirty—three rooms, symbolic of the thirty—three states which compose the Southern jurisdiction of the rite. Administrative offices are on the second floor. The third floor is devoted to the Cathedral, seventy—five feet square, which, with its interior decorations, is one of the most beautiful chambers in the world."
