Russellville, Arkansas: The River Valley Adult Learning Alliance (RVALA) offers free drop-in tutoring for adults interested in reading safety manuals or preparing for written CDL, heavy machinery, or forklift certification tests. Tutor Michael Hogrefe is a retired member of LIUNA (Laborers International Union of North America) and a former ANSI certified Adult Vocational Instructor. He is tutoring through the AARP and SCEP (Senior Community Service Employment) program.
Mr. Hogrefe will be available weekly to assist patrons Monday through Wednesday from 1:00—3:00 pm in the Genealogy Department of the Pope County Library, 116 E. 3rd Street, Russellville. For more information, contact Meredith Martin-Moats with RVALA at 479-310-5269.
