"I am wondering how you stand heat. Write soon Dick. Hello. How's the boy. I received your card and was most pleased to hear from you. We are having some hard duty here guard every 3 to 5 days. We are doing duty with 1 sgt. 3 corps. and 1 L. Corp., going some, I just came out of the hospital with my foot? and I guess it is on a matter of time until I am discharged."
