"Your card was alright so far as it went, but it didn't go as far as I'd like. Chester and I took a stroll yesterday P.M. of between 4 & 5 miles which for me — lazy me — is some. Wish you were here to go with me today. C. has deserted and gone to hunt up a Dr with a horse & buggy! Just a sin to stay indoors. Do write a letter. R."
