Pope County, Arkansas:  The Pope County Library System is hosting several local authors during the month of February.  Dr. Stanley Lombardo, Professor of English at Arkansas Tech University, kicked off Dover Public Library’s Author Visits on Monday, February 5. Dr. Lombardo is the author of the Lucas and Nellie children’s book series, as well as screenplays and Medieval period novels.

Rounding out the schedule in Dover are YA paranormal, suspense, and mystery author, Brandy Nacole, and author Jennette Gahlot, who was inspired by Arkansas history to write the Rattlesnake Rex series featuring U.S. Deputy Rex Redfern. Both authors are also Dover residents. Ms. Nacole will speak on Monday, February 12, at 4:00 pm, followed by Ms. Gahlot on Monday, February 26, at 4:00 pm. (The Pope County Library System is closed on Monday, February 19.)
