Pope County Library System Hosts Speed Puzzle Contest

POPE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM HOSTS SPEED PUZZLE CONTEST

Russellville, Arkansas:  The winter months sometimes seem to have fewer opportunities to get out and about in the community, but this January, the Pope County Library System held a system wide Speed Puzzle Contest, organized by Genealogy staff members Leslie Tedder and Morgan Frazier. Beginning with the Dover Public Library, each branch hosted a round for teams of 2 to 4 players,with the winning team from each location moving on to the Finale, held at thePope County Library in Russellville on Saturday, January 27.

Finale First Place winners Kendall Duinker, Krista Lane,Karah Lane, and Hannah Lane also took first place in the round held at the Pope County Library in Russellville. Atkins Centennial Library round winners CandyJohnston, Rick and Barbara Jones, and Sarah Noel came in second in the Finale, and Finale third place was taken by the Cloughessy family, representing Dover Public Library.
