POPE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM HOMESCHOOL CONNECTION HOSTS SECOND ANNUAL END OF YEAR STUDENT EXPO
Russellville, Arkansas: The Pope County Library System Homeschool Connection hosted their second end of year Homeschool Expo on Friday, April 26, at the Pope County Library in Russellville. Seventeen Homeschool Connection students (including 3 from VEX Club and 2 from Art Club) showcased their work from the 2023—2024 school year.
The Homeschool Connection students exhibited science, history, and art projects, which ranged from Egyptian culture to the human body to sewing skills.
In the Genealogy Department, the group displayed their “Building a Community” STEAM model of Russellville as well as miniature Book Nooks they created out of boxes. VEX robotics students gave demonstrations of their robot and guided other students in learning how to operate it. And the Teen Yearbook Club took orders for the yearbooks they have been creating.
The library Outreach Department served refreshments, including mini cupcakes from Just Desserts and hotdogs with fixings from Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market.
