Dover Public Library Partners with Ozark-St. Francis Ranger Station to Celebrate Smokey Bear's Eightieth Birthday

Dover, Arkansas:  As part of their Summer Reading Program, Adventure Begins at Your Library, the Dover Public Library is partnering with the U.S. Forest Service Ozark-St. Francis Ranger Station to celebrate Smokey Bear’s upcoming eightieth birthday.  The public is invited to attend Smokey’s Birthday Party, which will be held in the Family Life Center of Dover First Baptist Church, 149 AR 164, at 10:00 am on Monday, July 15.  The library will provide cupcakes and drinks, attendees may take pictures with Smokey Bear, and the Forest Service will share a Storytime.  The event is open to the public (SRP participants are encouraged to swing by the Dover Library after the event to update their reading logs and choose their prizes).
