Clubs: The first Saturday of every month our Clubs meet in the Heritage building next to the Russellville Public Library. All teens are welcome and encouraged to partake, whether intermittently or consecutively. Each club features its own unique activities that cater to the participants interests. As a safe space for all, we maintain a kindness policy for all participants that everyone must adhere to.

10am-11am Teen Advisory Board- TAB is a group of teens that participate in and influence the functioning of the county library. They offer guidance and suggestions for teen programming, library materials, books, and other functionings of the YA department. This club is ideal for those seeking to acquire volunteer hours, include their participation on a college application, meet other likeminded teens, and contribute to the efficiency of their county library.

11am-12pm Anime Club- Formulated for both Manga and Anime fans, this club features a wide variety of activities, from the history and genres of Manga, to Japanese language and culture, to digital art lessons and personal zine creations. Our aim is to explore the many facets of the graphic arts while enjoying the company of others with similar interests.

1:30pm- 2:30pm Minecraft Club- This club encompasses a collection of Minecraft gamers who gather to discuss, create, and collaborate about all things Minecraft. All activities relate to the game, while providing an atmosphere of open discussion. Please do consider that this club is offered within the Young Adult department and is structured for teens.

3:00- 4:00pm Creators Club- This club features all things social media related. With special focus on Instagram, Tik-Tok, blogging/vlogging, Twitter, and Facebook, we explore the many facets of creating engaging content for social media sites. In the Creators Club, participants are taught about themes/aesthetics, how to write engaging captions, take/edit professional grade photos, gain a general understanding of algorithms, and so much more.

Instagram: Follow the Russellville YA department at: @russellvilleYA for new book arrivals, book recommendations, club and program announcements, online study resources, and more.

Book Clubs:

Our Anime Club features both Manga and Anime content. Although not a traditionally structured “book club,” this group offers the perfect opportunity for Manga readers to pair up and do buddy reads. The library has an extensive collection of graphic novels, and our Teen Services staff would love to assist in suggesting and acquiring the desired Graphic Novels for Manga readers.

Coming Soon: Fantasy Book Club: This book club will offer shared space for discussion, recommendations, and book swaps. It will offer an open forum style curated specifically for YA fantasy readers. Those interested are encouraged to reach out to Teen Services at teens@popelibrary.org or 479-968-4368.
